Beach Cleanup

Are you ready to make a difference to our beautiful planet and have fun doing it?

Beach cleanups are a fantastic way to help protect our oceans and marine life while enjoying the beauty of the beach.

Here are some guidelines that you must follow for a safe and successful beach cleanup:

  • Dress Appropriately: Wear comfortable clothes, sunscreen, hats, and closed-toe shoes to protect yourself from the sun and any sharp objects you may encounter.
  • Stay Hydrated: Don’t forget to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout the cleanup. Avoid single use plastic water bottles – Rethink.
  • Educate Yourself: Learn about the impact of litter on marine ecosystems and why it’s essential to keep beaches clean. Share this knowledge with your friends and family.
  • Be Prepared for Anything: Keep an eye out for marine life, such as jellyfish or crabs, and know what to do if you encounter them (don’t worry we will tell you more about this before the cleanup and we are always around to help).
  • Follow Safety Guidelines: Listen to all instructions from the cleanup marshals and follow safety guidelines to ensure everyone stays safe during the event.
  • Document Your Progress: Take photos before and after the cleanup to see the difference you’ve made and share your achievements with others.
  • Dispose of Waste Properly: Sort the collected trash into recyclables and non-recyclables and dispose of them responsibly. (We will help you with this.)
  • Celebrate Your Success: After the cleanup, take a moment to celebrate your hard work and the positive impact you’ve had on the environment.
